Rit Sun Guard puts an invisible shield into clothing that helps block more than 96% of the Sun´s harmful rays from reaching your skin!

Simply add it to the wash cycle, rinse and dry as usual. It won´t change the color or comfort of clothing. One treatment is good for repeated washings. It´s safe for the whole family.

*For example, a typical white T-shirt is rated UPF 5. A single treatment with Rit Sun Guard boosts its rating to UPF 30. UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) describes the capability of the fabric to prevent UV rays from reaching the skin. It is relatively equivalent to SPF ratings for sunscreen.

For effective absorption of Rit Sun Guard, do not use cold water; temperature of water should be 100 degrees or higher. Safe for all washable fabrics. Will not add sun protection to 100% polyester and acrylic fabrics.

Avoid breathing dust. Use with adequate ventilation.
